Show

This morning my wife told me she was excited by the prospect of my art show. I make art, as photographs, and I paint.
Transcendia is the work of conceptual art, as I understood conceptual art.
A few more than that years ago in 2006 I had a show of some big cartoons I made, and Drift, which was more like a real painting done wet on wet.
The more I attempted to do things right, the worse things got. Now at least I know enough to be absolutely terrible and then work back to good.
I used to say that if you want detail from me, here is a photograph. Oh yeah, Frozen Decisive Moment!
For a long time I was with Cartre Bresson and would never crop. Then after a long time of not having a camera I cut photo snapshots up and glued them on pieces of poster board and made all these cards.
Lots of what I know I learned in the streets. The grip truck had 19 C stands, and two 9 lights and I started with 4 K HMIs and it was the age of yellow film.
Bastard amber was put all over all the lights back in the late ’80s.
HMI’s got bigger and bigger and I last worked with a row of 18Ks which draw about 180 amps as you round up 10 amps per 100. Your coffee maker and hair dryer draw that sort of power, which is quite a bit. I’ve seen whole homes that ran off 50 amps.
Strength, wisdom, beauty, and humor are what I try and get into the frame.
There in that frame is the hope of perfection.

Unguarded Grid Point

All stations at wartime means a real man at the Grid Transfers at the bull switch.

About Russell Scott Day

I come from sailors and priests. My aim is to prevent apocalyptic riot, better known as nuclear war, when I was growing up. Creating a nation of airports will create the peace enough environment to prevent apocalyptic riot. I had a vision due to a period of boredom and bliss like the Aleph of Borges. That is the story I learned and was made up and happens.
