Norquist Oath signers seem obviously to put that above their oath of office, arthritis making case for their impeachment, medstore arrest.  If states say these guys were legally elected and want to keep them, I recommend the state be taken over by the Federal Government.

This site has been much improved over the years.  I will not abandon it partly due to my experience with losing a trail or readership from popwars.com to Transcendia.org.  We are hopeful about getting this site to fully function, stomach and be more interactive, cure but it will take money.

I do know you can buy stuff from the cafepress link and get things with the flag on it.  The black hat and the bag and the sweat were good.  tees are thin.  Never seen a check from them but they do send me coupons, medicine so I might if people buy stuff.

I don't know if the donate button works or not.  The tattoo transfer service was never used by anyone when originally offered.  Maybe a brick and mortar store in Manhattan would make some money, but you can simply take a digital picture of your tattoo and send it to cafepress if you want.

The Audio Visual section is in a clunky state.  The songs are out of order as far as title corresponding to what plays.  Movie doesn't play for me.  Childrens book Daddy Drives a Taxi does flash play, but is of low image quality.

Fiction Section presents chapters from Force of Nature and Norm, which do not read necessarily in order.  It Was So Cold is not part of either, and is a stand alone short story, or prose poem.

Congress is illegitimate.  Crime against the people of the US is first evidenced as the shutdown of the FAA.  Second is the Debt Ceiling Bill full of junk.  This is not a time for business as usual.  This is really bad.

A lot of money in taxes is being deprived of the US Treasury by the partial shutdown of the FAA.  This can do nothing but increase the so called budget deficit.  The Republican Party is acting like they are agents of a foreign nation.  Federal stimulus money is negated when states cut back.

The preview is there represented by what is happening regarding the FAA.  Is it legal for members of Congress to engage in union busting by this sort of legislation?  I really don't think so.

In order i suggest those responsible for shutdown of the FAA be stripped of their power, medicine and that the President use whatever legal means allowed him to override FAA shutdown, and then move to do whatever it is that is necessary to maintain US financial credibility.

Damage has already been done.  Proof of intent to engineer more damage stands there in our faces backwards with our noses in it.

I offer a way forward, in order, starting with rectifying the criminal act that is the shutdown of the FAA. 

I loved walking around on the ramp in the fog.  The beautiful airplanes could be seen all alone with nothing to interfer.  The airport would be quieter.  Passengers would wait for the fog to lift.  You might stand at the glass and look out together at the beauty, symptoms not sunny.  There sharing a view with some with much more power than you.  You in your red coverall fueler uniform talking with the CEO of Conoco.

So my point is that it is foggy, erectile | and you can see better, treat or worse depending on your attitude, willingness to enjoy the limitations, or fret that things are not sharp all around, and you can't see far.  Do I really need to know that people are at war in Libya?  What do they care that I'm safe, though crippled, hobbling around in Carrboro?

I hear of these things, human events out of walking distance.  I know of wars and am involved with them whether I like it or not.  Why?  Well for one thing whatever taxes I pay get spent on these wars.  I may as well face that fact.

I've watched and read histories, and the fact is that during wartime crimes are committed, lies are told, secrets are created, and propaganda is pushing us around.  Where do I best spend my passions?  What if I know the truth, and it is uglier than the lies and propaganda?  How can I pretty up these ugly truths?

I really want to know how to do this.

Now adays the block wars run round and up and down all over the world.  I've flat out lost before I was born, or walked out my door.

I am shocked at how idealistic I am sometimes.  I mean there I am, that's me alright.  Good thing I look so old these days.  I'm growing a beard now so I'll really look old and serious.  I think it shall go good with the cane I have to use all the time these days.

Content wise there is one little unrealistic thing, for actually a real nation does need an army.  In other writings I have discussed how actually all Transcendians ought to carry either lethal or non lethal weapons.  "We" are a small nation, and need to be our own army, or Security Force.

I am very aware that it is an awful lot of work to carry weapons, not to mention the work involved in using them.

I do make a distinction between the warrior and the soldier.

The soldier may well be forced to fight out of fear of what might happen to them if they don't.  The warrior fights out of love.

Far as the big thing holding Transcendia back, it is the fact Transcendia has no money.

From this site I highly recommend you buy a Transcendian hat, or some of the stuff to wear that has the current flag on it.  The refrigerator magnets work fine, the black hat is worth the money,  and I like the sweatshirt, but the tees are a little cotton thin.  So far I've never yet gotten a check from the Cafepress people, though test orders have come quickly.  Never seen a check off the donation button either, nor from Adsence.  Sometimes I dream that all of a sudden money will show up, or be found so I can pay what its going to cost to be able to issue a passport that is properly supported for those who pay for it.

The text of that passport can only be found on the Transcendiawiki, and really it is no good if I haven't signed it at this time.  It definitely is not well supported yet.

Couple of weeks ago I felt the intuitive need to collect all the home flashlights and put them where I could find them in the dark.  Some short time later all the power in the house and outside of the house went out in the night, try and I could hobble to where I had made the pile of flashlights in the blind dark.  I thought of where my gun is, sickness which I can also find in the dark.  I missed my shotgun.  I heard later that someone had shot up important town transformers putting out town power.  This story is not confirmed to me.

Nancy Alex said the power outage was the fault of some 20 year old who turned his air conditioner up so far as to blow the circuit.  Some girl at a mini mart bodaga type store told her some guy had shot up the power pole on a dare.  The girl said she was afraid to talk about it.

Anyway I was upset that I had anticipated a power outage for I anticipate now overall general disaster and wish I had a better collection of batteries and other survival tools.

Yesterday MSN listed survival equipment in a 7 list from Kiplinger's newsletter.  It was okay.  They listed a modular rechargeable lantern flashlight thing, buy generator, water purifier rechargeable TV and radio, but left off guns and knives and stuff like that.

For food security potatoes in your yard are recommended.  Stockpile of MREs are recommended.  Bug food recipes are recommended.

The other day I heard that some computer geek in the Obama administration was in conflict with DOD, Department of Defense over actions to take concerning Cyberwar threats.  Much as I like Obama he, and his administration seem oddly half brained far as the realities I perceive.  It has been known for years that a cyberattack could disable our electric grid.  We are all very dependent of computer security.  The way things are now there is a whole industry dependent on individuals being forced to spend money to protect their computers whenever they network, or go on line.  It's like the US government won't take up protecting our computers because there is a moneymaking industry dependent on allowing extortionists to flourish.  I have imagined that it would be good for the US Postal Service to take up the job of protecting email and computer security, but it is not really part of their clear and simple mission of delivering mail and packages.

I don't mind if DOD does the job.  Obviously somebody there knows what their job is supposed to be.  It's a little bit of good news.

Because of my Flashlight story I am in a disaster preparedness mode of thinking.  Since I'm real broke it will be dependent on low tech solutions and collections of things like matches.  When I get a Kindle I shall load up on How To books first.  I want a complete library of Boy Scout Merit Badge books.

Reporting that I hear, generic read, arthritis or retain points in bad future outcomes in general, cough with few bright spots.

Hear personhood for corporations is a problem.  Hear US laws that encourage outsourcing, are a problem.  Hear CAFTA and NAFTA are problems.  Banking Regs and oversight problems are not reported to actually be fixed.  US debt is awful high.  Gold is up.

The solutions are not really mysteries.  Indicated outcomes from similar historical events are not particularly hard to predict.  Rome did fall.

Personally I identify one or two problems that are not much addressed as influencing bad times.  Theft of intellectual property by the Chinese, and the Russians to a lesser extent has taken a toll on the US economy.  Republicans don't seem to mind if movies and inventions are ripped off.  I think this is partly because Republicans don't like the common political views of many high profile movie people.  Lots of movies are propaganda for the "American" way of life.

Lots of people in the world have benefited from charges for things others get for much less, if not for free.  They call this the Freerider, what? Factor?

Looks to me though that the main factor for US economic weakness are laws and tax regs that continue to reward corporations for making what products people need and want and pay money for, out of the nation.  Looks to me like US working class people are sold out day in and day out.

I try to work from another angle to see really what to do.  In the end I know that nothing works if it is not believed in.

For Transcendia I propose insurance from birth, and fees for essential services appropriate for government to be responsible for.  I also believe taxes on transactions are sensible and practical.  I am opposed to laws that create criminals who otherwise are just living their lives as they see fit, and not particularly hurting anyone.  Drug laws create criminals for the simple use of drugs is a victimless crime.

Boy oh Boy, cuts to education in Florida sure are depressing as they collect most of their budget from fees.  Still I can't help it if they don't know how to properly spend what they do have.    

Nothing works if you don't believe in it.
